About Us

Our Purpose:

Organized in 1998, the purpose of the Lenawee Council for the Visual Arts is to promote the creation, display and appreciation of the visual arts in Lenawee County. Our diverse membership base includes professional artists, vocational artists, patrons of the arts and those who simply appreciate art.

The LCVA Gallery has approximately 1000 square feet of space and exhibits several shows per year, located in the Historic Croswell Opera House in Adrian, Michigan. All exhibitions are free and open to the public. The LCVA supports the annual Art A Licious Festival located in downtown Adrian, held every summer.

Join the LCVA and receive discounts on classes, invitations to exhibitions, a newsletter, and the satisfaction of helping us promote the visual arts in Lenawee County.
